Description:
The band is back with a new album, "The Last of the Souls", which is the first release in 9 years. The band is led by the brilliant Tim DeLafter, and once included ST Vincent as a member, but now we don't even know how many people are in the band. This is their first original album in 9 years. It's great. The overwhelming scale, harmony, and exuberance that can only be achieved by a large chorus band and symphonic band. It is no exaggeration to say that after about 10 years, the brilliance of the album has not only faded but also increased. (1) filled with romantic euphoria as if traveling from a sad melody to outer space, (2) a simple melody that brings tears to your eyes, (3) a melody that makes you weep, (4) a beautiful guitar that makes you weep, (5) a new world that starts walking toward a future filled with hope, (9) an unbelievable final song that leaves nothing to the imagination.... It's been a long time, and the shimmering and uplifting feeling of encountering new music is genuine. A moving masterpiece that proves to be the best of psychedelic rock along with The Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev.
