Lana Lane, the "Queen of Symphonic Rock", made her debut in 1995 with "Love is an Illusion", a 2-CD all-time best album that looks back on her career to date. Lana Lane's expressive voice and the songs created by her husband and producer Erik Norlander (Key) and the symphonic rock sound completed by the duo attracted hard rock fans with their third album "Garden of the Moon", and the album marked their first visit to Japan. The band made their first visit to Japan with this album. After this visit to Japan, the band's relationship with Japan grew stronger, and since then they have been releasing studio albums, cover albums, and live albums every year, etc. After "El Dorado Hotel" in 2012, Lana went on hiatus for a while to pursue her own business, but in 2021, it was announced that she would be returning to her artistic activities. Lana has announced her return to her artistic activities and will release a new album for the first time in 10 years. This 2-CD best-of album will be released in conjunction with the release of her first new album in a long time, "Neptune Blue" (January 28, 2022). The songs are selected from all original studio albums as well as EPs and special releases, with a particular focus on songs that are considered to be popular among Japanese listeners. The year 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Avalon label, and includes a remix of the song "Avalon," from which the label takes its name.Lana Lane and Erik Norlander, the core of LANA LANE, were involved in the song selection process. The songs were selected by Lana Lane and Erik Norlander, the core of LANA LANE, and were remastered by Erik for this best-of album. In addition to the newly remixed version of "Avalon" mentioned above, a long version of "A Place in Time" and a short version of "Seacrets of Astrology" are included for the first time in Japan.
