About-Ambrosia is not your typical cantaloupe! It has extremely sweet flesh that is tender and pale orange in color. A great sweet fruit to add to your garden, try freezing the flesh as slices, chunks or even as a puree!
When and Where to Plant-Sow seeds outside about 2 weeks after the last frost date, when soil temperatures are about 65% F. Prefers soils that are well amended in an area with full sun.
Care and Harvest-Water often and rotate melons when possible. Allow to ripen on the vine, and harvest once the melon is fragrant and the blossom end feels soft.
