The KRK V8S4 is an active 2-way studio monitor with a 1" Kevlar tweeter and 8" Kevlar bass/midrange speaker. The compact KRK V8S4 is designed as a nearfield/midfield monitor and is suitable for demanding home recording applications. The integrated 230 watt Class D amplifier ensures clean pulse reproduction and a maximum sound pressure level of up to 118 dB SPL. An advantage for installation in small listening environments is the bass reflex port at the front, which helps to prevent overlapping in the bass range when installed close to walls. To further optimize the sound image, 49 different DSP-controlled equalizer presets allow the KRK V8S4 to operate in a wide variety of listening environments.

Space optimization thanks to DSP-controlled EQ presets
The DSP-controlled equalizer settings, which can be set separately for bass and midrange/high frequency range, are practical for compensating for less than optimal acoustic conditions.
